CHARLES R. CUMMINGS is a graduate of Hobart College and Boston University School of Law. Mr. Cummings has served on numerous State committees, including serving as Chairman of the Vermont State Board of Labor Mediation and Arbitration and as a Trustee of the University of Vermont. He has also been active in Vermont and American Bar Associations, including serving as a Governor and Delegate of the American Bar Association. Mr. Cummings is also admitted to practice law before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. STEPHEN R. PHILLIPS is a graduate of Hobart College and Vermont Law School. He is a former Chairman of the Brattleboro Development Review Board and the Brattleboro Planning Commission. RICHARD C. CARROLL is a graduate of Middlebury College and Vermont Law School (cum laude). LAURIE A. ROWELL is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and the University of Dayton School of Law (cum laude). She is active in local and State politics and served for nine years as a lister in the Town of Rockingham. ELANA S. BARON is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a Degree is Political Science and Women's Studies. She received her law degree from Vermont Law School in 2003. MARY LOUISE NELSEN has been a paralegal with the firm since 1984. She attended Vassar College, has completed the paralegal program of the University of New Hampshire and is a PACE registered paralegal.
